EVENT - Fall Cruise and Tour of the 5 GARAGES RANCH owned by Mr. John Burkland

DATE - November 4, 2017

LOCATION - 6924 Wied Road, Rutersville, TX 78945 (just outside La Grange, TX)

MEETING PLACE - Buc-ee's located on U.S. 290 W and Hwy. 362 in Waller, TX

TIME - ARRIVE 8:45 & DEPART @ 9:00am.  Approximate travel time is one hour & distance 63 miles.  Estimated arrival time is 10:15am

ROUTE - 290 W to Texas 237 S through Round Top TX and then onto TX-159 W (maps & directions will be provided @ Buc-ee's)

ENTRY DONATION - $5.00 / per person which will be donated to Mr. Burkland's Military Veteran Charity

WHAT TO BRING - Cameras, cold beverages and snacks.  

LUNCH - After the tour, we plan to have a late lunch in Round Top at one (or more) of the many fine restaurants in town.  Due to the large number of folks expected to attend, we may not be able to fit everyone in just one restaurant.

Round Top is also a great place to walk around, shop, sip wine and eat pie.

THE 5 GARAGE RANCH - Mr. Burkland's facility and car collection was recently featured in a recent edition of GARAGE STYLE MAGAZINE.  His collection includes approximately 125 classic autos (including Corvettes), hot rods, dragsters, motorcycles, vintage cars & farm equipment, tools and other collectible auto memorabilia. The 25,000 sq. foot, 5 building facility & bunkhouse, houses one of the most extensive car collections in the state of Texas.  Don't miss this trip and the weather should be fantastic for a cruise into the country.
