APRIL 20 - 22, 2018 - (4/20 is a Travel Day, Show takes place on 4/21 and Planned Tours of the Hill Country on 4/22)
EVENT - TEXAS CORVETTE ASSOCIATION OPEN CAR SHOW
LOCATION - Main St. & Town Square in beautiful Downtown Boerne, TX. Corvettes entered in the Show will be parked on Main Street and cars in the Open Show will display on the Town Square Green.
TIME - 9:00 am Registration at the Town Square Gazebo
ENTRY FEE - Pre-Registration is $30 and after April 14th, it will be $35. Registrants receive a T-shirt, Friday night Meet & Greet and an Optional Hill Country Run / Tour with lunch. FREE to Spectators.
DETAILS - VetteRod's Members attending this event will leave Houston on Friday morning, have lunch (TBA) and then proceed to the hotel with arrival expected around 3:00 pm. We will then meet around 5:00 pm in the Lobby for Social Hour before dinner. Get up the next morning, have breakfast and then convoy to Downtown for the show, shopping and other activities. After the show, return to the Hotel for a Social Hour and then proceed to a Group Dinner (TBA). Sunday morning after breakfast, you are on your own to return to Houston or take advantage of the Hill Country Run with Lunch. Last year, there were over 350 entrants and most (80%) were Corvettes.
ACTIVITIES - Include Food, Music, Vendors, Shopping, Silent Auction and a Car Raffle all benefiting St. Jude's.
HOTEL - NWHV-Rods (and Tony) have booked 10 rooms at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott. To reserve a room, call them @ 830 368-4167 and request one of our rooms. Give them your Credit Card # and they will issue you a CONFIRMATION #. The King room rate is $139 per night. Our contact at the Hotel is the Manager, Hilary Harper.
THE PLAN - Once we determine who will be going, we will confirm a Friday morning meeting place, time to meet and where we will stop for lunch. Everyone will receive a list of names and cell numbers of who will be making the trip. This is always a great show and Boerne is the perfect place to have it. SHORT CRUISE SATURDAY - In the past, we have also taken a short cruise to Comfort, TX via Hill Country two lane scenic roads. Time permitting, we can also stop at one of the many Wineries in the area.
